  1. Ha Ha Ha … “Weather does not equal climate” … and climate is a “global” concern (especially politically but we’ll pretend we’re being scientific).

“Look at my data here to show you the ‘warming trends’ … broken down by U. S. state

This climate change would not be happening if it wasn’t for that pesky ‘ole Sun. Maybe we can tax it into submission.

    What a complete joke.

  2. No meds .. just common sense and a tendency (I should probably try to suppress) to raise the BS flag when I see the need.

  3. Is av8tor a climate change denier? We vacation in the boundary waters in MI. Can’t find a moose anywhere there anymore. Used to see them by the herd growing up in the 1970s. Climate has changed, they have moved north and the white tail have moved in.

    • “Denier.” Love that word.

New rule: Everyone who disagrees with me is a “denier.”

      How convenient.

By the way, as coincidence would have it, a friend of mine just posted this picture from Minot AFB, ND … 25 minutes ago:

      • Oh well, the photo url was stripped by the WordPress I guess … but it was of two moose walking by the front gate of the base.

Just a little “denier” humor there.

      • WordPress didn’t send into moderation; I have no record of it. It might work if you use an URL as a link… just an idea.

  4. tildeb .. just to be clear, I wasn’t making accusations or saying anything negative … only that I am clueless about how to attach a photo. I tried using the “img src = url” and it didn’t work. No biggy, just thought it was ironic.

  5. You may want to come at this issue as one of risk management. See the video here about why. Or, you might also check out this one on the link between local weather and climate patterns.

Not according to NASA. If only NASA scientists knew about your special, secret information about the sun.

    “Denier.” Love that word.

New rule: Everyone who disagrees with me is a “denier.”

A Holocaust Denier could say the same thing. No need to change the logic.
An Evolution Denier could say the same thing. No need to change the logic.
A Vaccine Denier could say the same thing. No need to change the logic.
A Moon Landing Denier could say the same thing. No need to change the logic.
A tobacco-causes-cancer denier could say the same thing. No need to change the logic.

Denialism is real. People go into denial over all sorts of things. It’s a defense mechanism.

    • No, this data doesn’t ‘haunt’ climate change authors whatsoever; it has already been explained. Go here if you need to remind yourself why this denialism and conspiracy shit is just more PRATT in the service of the status quo.
